What is it exactly? While it actually looks more complicated than it really is, crack polish is a special top coat applied to your regular nail color that gives a “crackled” effect on the finish.
This is what I used: Pupa's nail art kit comes with a silver nail polish that I replaced with this nice pink.
Apply your nail color as usual. While skipping the top coat, allow your nails to completely dry so the crack polish doesn’t penetrate to the nail color and dissolve it.
Apply a thin coat of crack polish, making sure not to go over the same section more than once.
The thinner you apply the crackle polish the more cracks you will have.
These are the instructions on the back of the box. They also recommended to apply a shine top coat for a brilliant effect.
